Maintenance solutions can be either self-managed (as in you, the client, login to a customized management area and update your content), fully managed by me, or a hybrid of the two concepts.
Most of my clients tend to prefer a custom hybrid solution, as there are certain aspects of a website that become less costly for me to maintain from time to time whereas others require more frequent, specialized maintenance. However, I am very flexible in this regard and will work with you to provide you with a website maintenance plan that is right for you.
A self-managed solution will allow you to update the content of your site whenever it is convenient for you to do so. Whether it’s 9:00 AM Monday morning or 11:00 PM Sunday night, you will be able to login and update your content.
If your products/services need to be updated frequently, or you simply want a solution that will allow you to edit content without my intervention, a self-managed solution is right for you.

Fully managed solutions tend to be more appropriate for websites that aren’t updated frequently, and for companies that don’t have the time to maintain their own website content on a regular basis.
A hybrid solution combines aspects of both a fully managed and self-managed solution. For example, you may have an e-commerce site where you wish to update your products, but you may not wish to update the writeup portions of your site (About Us, Contact Us, etc.)
Hybrid solutions are best suited for sites where certain aspects of the site change frequently, while other aspects change infrequently or not at all. They are also suitable for those businesses who may not wish to accept the responsibility of full site control, but still wish to update certain aspects of their content on their own schedules.
